EXIMIAS is a specialty pharmaceutical company that identifies, acquires, and develops unique prescription drugs to fulfill unmet medical needs in the therapeutic areas of Oncology and Infectious Disease. EHCP participated in the last private round of financing with Cross Atlantic Partners, New Enterprise Associates, OrbiMed Advisors and Quaker BioVentures, among others. On May 9, 2006 YM BioSciences Inc. (AMEX:YMI) acquired EXIMIAS. As a result of the aquisition EXIMIAS became a wholly-owned subsidiary of YM BioSciences Inc. and will serve as YM's base of operations in the United States.
