Sonics is a developer of innovative technologies and solutions for semiconductor design. Its proprietary software design tool and communications management protocol allow for "plug and play" integration of semiconductor intellectual property (IP) cores into system-on-chip (SOC) designs. Sonics is a privately held company in Mountain View, California. EHCP recently participated in a financing round with Smart Technology Ventures and several other venture capital firms.
